GBR 438 Smart Cutter/folder

This new system processes up to 38,000 sheets an hour printed two up. It processes both pinless and pin-fed forms. It runs online with conventional non-intelligent inserters providing up to 12 stations of selection and communicates serially with intelligent inserters. It is designed for 7 X 24 operations. It includes the latest anti-toner marking technology and a unique quick change accumulator for instant change over from over to under accumulation. It offers OMR line code, barcode, 2D Data Matrix, OCR and works with almost all 3rd party camera systems. File based inserting is possible as is output verification.

FPF 35 Smart Feeder/Collector

The FPF 35 Smart Feeder/Collector is designed to intelligently accumulate flat packs for mail production. The FPF 35 reads and collates up to 35, 20 lb. flat sheets at throughputs up to 40,000 sheets per hour, depending on set size and inserter cycle speed. The system has an advanced touch screen for operator programmable line code and barcode job set-up and recall.

Plain Paper, Cold-Glue Self-Mailer System, OS-20 & OS-8 INS

GBR's OS-20 & OS-8 INS, with computer-control, convert cut-sheet or continuous form documents into sealed, envelope style self-mailers at the touch of a button. PLC control guides the operator through the set-up of glue pattern configurations, throughput speeds and other key electronic controls. The operator loads the OS-20 or OS-8 INS with printed sheets and it applies glue, folds, perforates and seals the two sides and flap, creating a finished mailer. The OS-20 and OS-8 INS require no envelopes or expensive, specially prepared forms - regular paper stock can be used providing significant cost savings.

Computer-controlled Folder

GBR Systems' computer-controlled Mathias Bäuerle Multimaster CAS folders reduce set-up times by more than 50%, while providing easier operation and higher productivity than virtually any other folder on the market. At the touch of a button, the operator can switch from one fold type to another in less than a minute. The CAS folders surpass traditional folders with the distinctive feature of automatic fold plate set-up. There is no calculating fold lengths, no measuring of fold samples and no manual settings of the fold plates. You get a precise tight fold every time.

Continuous Forms Cutter

GBR's Tecnau cutters are the latest in cutter technology, multi-programmable (99 jobs) and highly versatile. They can run off-line or on-line with IBM and OCE printers. Two outstanding features of the Tecnau cutters include: utilizes stepper motors eliminating the need to replace expensive clutches; the blade cartridge is stored in a special cassette and removable at operator level for minimal downtime. The Tecnau cutter 1050NF, which operates at a high-speed of up to 26,000 8 1/2" x 11" documents per hour, precisely single or double cuts for a variety of applications. The Tecnau cutter can run on-line or off-line and, for example, with a printer, a roll unwind, Tecnau slitter/merger and a Mathias Bäuerle CAS folder. These components are intelligently connected for on-demand start and stop capabilities. If a jam occurs in the folder, cutter, or slitter/merger, the printer will be signaled to stop, resulting in minimal waste and superior operator and production efficiency.

Plow Fold

Plow folding has been incorporated to the Product Attaching System line to provide a folding solution when conventional folding would be impossible. The Plow Fold's main objective is to save labor by completing two applications in a single pass. Adjustments are mounted on the cross slide with horizontal and vertical movement to enable quick set up of the Plow Fold geometry. This in-line Plow Fold finishing component is adaptable for off-line use by utilizing Sure-Feed's FeedMAX-S high capacity feeder and collection conveyor systems.

Product Stand

Durable 16" X 16" rotating platform for multiple feeding postions. Forward stand construction for straddling infeed Conveyors. Height adjustment for opimal transferring and integration. Maximum platform height of 42.5" - minimum height 29.5". Low profile forward leg extension for sliding under cabinet style systems. Jogging platform for perparing the product before presenting it to the feeder.(Feeder not included.)

CMS-LAD MOD IV

CMS-LAD MOD IV accumulator attachment allows you to accumulate and fold on your existing folder. The system gathers a preset number of sheets (entered by key pad) holds them until the correct number is gathered then drops the accumulated sets onto your fold rollers giving you a sharp interfolded set. Easily mounts on any floor model folder. Will accommodate cut sheet and continuous applications.

Super Elite 500

Profold Super Elite 500 Vacuum Feed Folder is a compact heavy duty tabletop model. Equipped with Profold's patented "Prothane Fast Grooved" fold rollers they have no affinity for laser or copier toner, providing for longer life. The "Fast Track" grooves in the fold rollers allow air to escape, producing tighter folds and superior control of paper stock, including coated.

Profold Model 216

The Profold Model 216 is a stand-alone, compact, intelligent, feeder / accumulator / folder. It has a vacuum bottom sheet feeder that feeds pre-collated sheets into the accumulator section. The unit accepts sheets from 8 1/2"x11" to 11"x17". It can handle stapled or non-stapled sets.

Profold Model 515

The Profold Model 515 is the most versatile stand alone feeder / accumulator / folder. It is design to collate, sequence, reconstitute, and fold random sets of 1 to 20 sheets in sizes from 4"x6" to 11"x17". This unit also uses the Profold patented "Prothane Fast Track Grooved" fold rollers as well as the "No Set-Gap Set" technology.

Folder Model 106

The Profold Model 106 is an in-line accumulator / folder. Perfect in-line companion for laser printers, bursters, collators, and continuous form cutters. This unit can accept sheets from 8 1/2"x11" to 11"x17" stapled or non-stapled. This unit operates at a maximum speed of 5,000 sets per hour.

Folder Model 516

This unit is design for jobs that need to quarter fold after labelling or prior to inserting. Excellent performance at speeds of up to 24,000 pieces per hour, handling material from 7"x5" single sheet to 17"x17" 64 page.

Folder Model 4040

The Model 4040 is a vacuum feed folder compact in size to save you valuable space. The feeding output of this unit is up to 40,000 sheets per hour for 8 1/2"x11" sheet size, 20lb stock. The stacking tray has a capacity of 1,000 sheets and with the bottom vacuum feeder continuous reloading is possible eliminating shutdown and lost time.

Sure-Feed Bump Turn

A versatile stand-alone system capable of matching your existing folder with an inline ink jet printer, tabbing system, trimmers and stitcher. Full height and angle adjustments with the left or right bump turning give you flexibility unavailable elsewhere. Adjustable multi-bump pin positioning can turn some of the most difficult materials in a smooth motion.
